I have painted the first few coats in pitch black and then added a metallic silver using a technique to give the feel of a industrial look .
Once I had finished all the painting I used a black waxed to seal and to finish off the industrial look.
The leather top has been painted with annabell duke pitch black and waxed .
I have replaced the original handles and replaced with this lovely modern cuphandles which have been given a coat of silver to tie in with the style of the desk
